After an exciting 2026 All-Star Race at Dover Motor Speedway last weekend that saw Denny Hamlin emerge victorious, drivers are gearing up for their next (and longest) race of the season, the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina on Sunday, May 24. The race will likely be an emotional one, as its the first one to occur after the sudden, tragic death of driver Kyle Busch. Busch had been on the entry list for the race up until a few days ago, but while testing in a racing simulator on Wednesday in North Carolina, he was found unresponsive. After a brief hospitalization, his death was announced on Thursday.
Despite the tragedy, the race is scheduled to go on, and Austin Hill has been tapped by the Richard Childress Racing team to replace Busch for the time being. The Coca-Cola 600 marks the first of five NASCAR Sup Series races streaming on Prime Video this season. You can also catch coverage of the races at Nashville Superspeedway (May 31), Michigan International Speedway (June 7), Pocono Raceway (June 14), and Naval Base Coronado in San Diego (June 21) on the platform.
