With a starting price of Rs 1,19,990, the LG QNED 8GA Mini LED sits in LG’s premium TV lineup, targeting buyers who want flagship-level performance. On paper, it ticks many of the right boxes — Mini LED backlighting, a 120Hz panel that can stretch to 144Hz for gaming, Dolby Vision support, and LG’s latest α8 AI Processor. But premium TVs are not judged by spec sheets alone. They are judged by how they perform in real life, with everyday content, mixed lighting, and long hours of use. Design and display
LG QNED 8GA Mini LED follows a clean and familiar LG design language. The TV has slim bezels on all sides, which helps keep the focus on the screen when you’re watching content. In the 65-inch size that we received for review, the TV feels large but not overwhelming, making it a natural fit for most living rooms.
LG includes a stand in the box, and setting it up is straightforward. The stand feels stable and holds the TV firmly on a TV unit. For those who prefer a cleaner setup, the TV also supports wall mounting, which works well given its relatively slim profile for a Mini LED panel.
Port placement is practical. Most of the important ports are positioned on the side, which makes them easy to access even when the TV is wall-mounted. The TV comes with three HDMI ports that support 4K at 120Hz, VRR, and eARC, along with two USB ports. There is also a LAN port for wired internet, a digital audio output, and satellite and cable inputs.
