Roku launches Women's Sports Zone on the platform.

Good news for developers? We think so.

But let's start with a snippet from the news article.

Streaming device provider and FAST operator, Roku has launched a Women's Sports Zone on its platform to make women's sports more accessible and discoverable.

Introducing-the-new-Roku-City-wallpaper.jpgThe Women's Sports Zone will be located within the sports experience; it will feature live and upcoming women's sporting events and female-focused documentaries, movies, and more from supporting channels across the platform.

The launch comes as 30% of sports fans said they are watching more women's sports than they used to over the past five years in 2022, while 85% of them said that it is important for women's sports to continue growing in popularity, according to Roku.

Intending to cut down time in finding content, Roku has provided streaming, live broadcast, and educational content options all in one place.

Content within the Zone will also be curated based on users' viewing habits, favorite sports teams, and more.
