The company earned 91 cents per share on $3.71 billion in revenue, compared with estimates for 65 cents in earnings per share and $3.69 billion in revenue, according to analysts polled by FactSet. Estee Lauder also announced plans to cut more jobs as part of its turnaround efforts. Amgen â The biotechnology stock slipped almost 2% after the company only slightly increased its full year forecast. Amgen is calling for adjusted earnings of $21.70 to $23.10 per share, up from its earlier guidance of $21.60 to $23 per share. The FactSet consensus estimate sought $22.33 per share. Rivian â Shares of the electric vehicle manufacturer tumbled almost 3% despite delivering a better-than-expected first-quarter loss. Rivian reported a loss of 33 cents per share and $1.38 billion in revenue. Analysts polled by FactSet were braced for a loss of 63 cents per share and $1.37 billion in revenue.
