It’s that time of year again.
Hollywood’s biggest stars are set to celebrate the best in film and TV at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 11.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessie Buckley, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothée Chalamet, Jeremy Allen White, Oscar Isaac, Chase Infiniti, Cynthia Erivo, Britt Lower, Rhea Seehorn, Seth Rogen and Noah Wyle are among the contending nominees.
This year’s show includes the brand-new Best Podcast category, marking a first for the Globes and giving podcast hosts like Alex Cooper and Mel Robbins a chance to compete alongside film and TV heavyweights.
In another first for the Globes, this year saw the inaugural “Golden Eve” special air on CBS and Paramount+ on Thursday, Jan. 8, as part of the network’s new “Golden Week” event leading up to the main ceremony.
Matthew Broderick presented his wife, Sarah Jessica Parker, with this year’s Carol Burnett Award during the first-ever primetime special, while Harrison Ford presented Helen Mirren with this year’s Cecille B. DeMille Award.

When is the show?
The 2026 Golden Globes will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 11, starting at 8 p.m. EST.
Where can you watch and stream the ceremony?
The show is set to air live on CBS at 8 p.m. EST and stream on Paramount+. It’s expected to end after three hours at 11 p.m. ET. (You can also watch from home with live TV streaming services like DIRECTV, which offers a five-day free trial.)
