Why This Deal Stands Out: Samsung Quality at a Budget Price
At $198, this open-box Samsung DU7200B represents an exceptionally low entry point for a name-brand 50-inch 4K television. While Samsung's 2024 entry-level model lacks the premium features found in higher-tier sets, you're still getting the reliability and smart platform backing of a major manufacturer at a price that undercuts most budget competitors. For buyers seeking a secondary TV for a bedroom, guest room, or casual viewing space, the combination of Samsung's Tizen smart platform and 4K resolution at under $200 is legitimately noteworthy—provided you understand the open-box considerations and performance limitations that come with this price.
What ‘Open Box' Actually Means for This Listing
Open-box products are customer returns or display units that Walmart has inspected and made available at a discount. The specific condition, included accessories, and remaining warranty coverage can vary by unit. Before purchasing this Samsung TV, verify that the listing includes both the stand and remote control, check Walmart's condition grading for the specific unit you're considering, and confirm the return policy window. Open-box electronics can offer genuine value, but it's essential to understand you're not receiving factory-sealed packaging or a guaranteed pristine cosmetic condition. Walmart's return policy typically provides a safety net, but clarify the terms before completing your purchase.
