What You're Actually Getting: 2025 LG B5 OLED Specs and Amazon Renewed Explained
The LG OLED65B5P is a 65-inch 4K OLED television from LG's 2025 B5 Series, currently available as an Amazon Renewed unit for $936.97. That renewed label is critical: you're purchasing a pre-owned TV that has been inspected, tested, and certified to work properly, but it may show cosmetic wear, arrive in non-original packaging, or lack some original accessories. Amazon Renewed products include a 90-day Amazon warranty and are eligible for returns, giving you a safety net if the unit doesn't meet expectations.
Under the hood, the B5 delivers the core OLED advantages that make this panel technology compelling:
- Perfect black levels from self-emissive pixels that turn off completely in dark scenes
- 4K resolution with LG's Alpha 8 Gen2 AI processor handling upscaling and image processing
- webOS smart platform with streaming apps, voice control, and content recommendations
- Four HDMI 2.1 ports supporting 4K at 120Hz, variable refresh rate (VRR), and auto low-latency mode for gaming
- Low input lag measured by RTINGS, making it responsive for console and PC gaming
- Wide viewing angles that maintain color and contrast when you're seated off-center
- Dolby Vision and HDR10 support for high dynamic range content
Because this is a renewed listing, verify the specific condition grade, included accessories (remote, stand, cables), and any cosmetic issues described in the seller's listing before purchase. Inventory is limited to individual units, so condition details vary.
The Deal Breakdown: How This Stacks Up Against New B5, C5, and Last Year's B4 Pricing
At $936.97, this renewed B5 undercuts typical new B5 pricing by hundreds of dollars, landing well below the $1,500โ$1,700 range most 65-inch OLEDs commanded at launch. That gap makes the renewed route attractive if you're willing to accept pre-owned condition and a shorter warranty window.
