LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – The Detroit Auto Show is back for another year, as hundreds of thousands of people head to Huntington Place to see the latest innovations in the auto industry.
The annual show highlights Michigan’s biggest industry and brings an economic boom to the city of Detroit. Organizers say it’s bigger and better than ever before.

Dates and tickets
After a hiatus during the pandemic and a brief switch to the summer months, the Detroit Auto Show is back to its January roots for a second straight year. The show begins with media and industry days on Wednesday, Jan. 14 and Thursday, Jan. 15, with the annual Charity Preview on Friday, Jan. 16.
The show is open to the public Saturday, Jan. 17 through Sunday, Jan. 25. It’s open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the show wrapping up an hour early at 7 p.m. on the final day.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for children ages 3-12 and free for children 2 and under. Special deals are available for families and large groups. Tickets can be bought online or in-person at Huntington Place. More details on ticketing can be found on the Auto Show website.
What you’ll see at the show
From American classics like Ford, Chevy and Cadillac to international icons like Ferrari, Lamborghini and Mercedes-Benz, more than two dozen brands and dealers will be on display on the show’s main floor.
