The series comes from James Gunn, who decided he wanted to explore more of the character after Cena's Peacemaker debuted in Gunn's 2021 film The Suicide Squad (more on that below). With its raunchy humor, charming cast, and legitimately great storylines, Peacemaker has emerged as one of the best new superhero shows anywhere.
