A Robbie Williams-backed British music streaming firm which boomed during lockdown is being tipped to become the “Netflix for Music” with the launch of its new free ROXi TV Music App.
Robbie, 47, was amongst a host of high-profile stars – including Kylie Minogue – to back ROXi as Celebrity Curators and Shareholders.
ROXi’s new TV Music App will allow millions of Brits to stream every music video, album and song with 70 million tracks and all the latest releases, exclusive music video channels, sing karaoke and play music games for free.
With the new app launching on Sky Q, Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV on compatible Sony Bravia, Panasonic, Philips, Toshiba TCL, HiSense and Shield Smart TVs and set-top boxes with Samsung TV and others to follow soon.
The free TV Music App is giving away more than a million ROXi Karaoke Microphones worth £29.99 to new users to sing along to the 140,000 karaoke tracks on ROXi.
The TV service was developed by serial British entrepreneur Rob Lewis who previously launched the world’s first mobile music streaming service with global music rights at Omnifone in 2007.
